The program is led by Tezlyn Figaro, an award-winning trainer, educator, entrepreneur, and Founder of the Tezlyn Figaro Communications Group. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, a Master of Education in Adult Education, and extensive experience developing and delivering training programs nationwide, Tezlyn has dedicated her career to helping individuals build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve personal and professional success. Through Push The Line Training & Resource Group, Tezlyn has trained more than 300 political candidates, organizers, and community leaders across the country while providing ongoing leadership development and civic education to hundreds more each year. Her expertise in communication, leadership, workforce development, and professional advancement has made her a sought-after trainer, consultant, and speaker. In addition to her training work, Tezlyn serves as Managing News Editor, Senior Producer, and Chief Political Correspondent for Revolt News Television and hosts the nationally recognized Straight Shot, No Chaser podcast on Charlamagne Tha God's Black Effect Podcast Network. She has appeared as a political analyst and commentator on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, The Breakfast Club, The Hill, and The Grio. As a veteran, educator, entrepreneur, mediator, and current law student at Florida A&M University College of Law, Tezlyn brings a unique combination of academic knowledge, real-world experience, and practical instruction to every training session.
