Wow!! Never a disappointment attending a Tezlyn Figaro training. She meets you were you are and selflessly gives her knowledge and expertise. This was truly a great experience. Not just teaching but allowing us time to apply and practice what we have learned. It was interactive and Tezlyn really poured into us and guided us through real world exercises. This was a great and informative course. It clearly broke down the various roles in a straightforward and honest way. I appreciated that it not only highlighted the positive impact and potential for meaningful change, but also addressed the possible challenges and consequences that may come with these responsibilities. Reading through the course material gave me a sense of comprehension beyond basic knowledge. I admired the breakdown of vocabulary and the examples of worker roles.

This course was the third course that I have reviewed and the second course that I experienced live. I found all three courses were well planned and filled with high-quality information for the novice and the experienced. However, I was particularly impressed by Tez Figaro's ability to connect on a deeper level than textbook and field knowledge. This course takes an unblinking examination of the need for emotional intelligence and strategic thinking when navigating campaigns. Honestly, the discussion is applicable to the business sector, nonprofits, and gov't administration. Throughout all courses, Tez shares parts of her personal journey and I truly appreciate hearing her testimony as I relate to it and have learned from it. I recommend this series for any person-of-color who has to navigate government and business sectors.
